Invitation
After its first anniversary, Hong Kong, one photo a day will become an open platform for all to share their Hong Kong photos with the hundreds of visitors everyday; and I sincerely invite you to participate as a contributor. All you need to do is to send your photos to hongkongdailyphoto(at)gmail.com, with basic description or your own commentary, either in English or Chinese and I’ll schedule to post them in this blog with full credit to you. You can either send me the original full size photos or resized ones (700px width or 500 px height). Needless to say, the copyright of the photo remains with you and will only be posted once in this blog.

UncategorizedI took this photo using my cellphone at the airport on January 12, 2007 upon arrival from Shanghai. From February 1, I am going to work in Shanghai, which of course means relocating there, which also means I can’t post fresh photos all the time for HKDP…but I must tell you that I DO intend to continue, at least for the time being.
The plan: I will post all the photos from my archive, not so new ones and new ones while I’m not in town; I’ll post photos of my friend SiuSiu’s; I will also post photos of people who want to share their HK photos here; I will be in town from time to time and I’ll take photos to replenish my stock; I will do whatever I can to keep it going.
In the meantime, please let me have your suggestions to how this may work better. To my visitors who are based in HK, or people who have visited HK, this will become a platform for everyone to share their photos (especially if you don’t want to do regular posts or want to share less personal/interesting ones with more people).
