Place to relax

Hong Kong

A photo by Kevin from Singapoare – i took this foto at the end of dec 2007 at Temple Street. it is one of my favorite of the many i took at your wonderful country. the man seemed very relaxed or even tired as he did not wave me away, only to crook his index finger. it seemed a nice place to relax though. Look at his cap too.

Fresh from my mailbox, this is a photo by Annie Lagarde from France — Annie took this photo of a pair of parrots (probably outside of a pet shop) in Johnston Road, Wanchai. Thanks Annie for the photos.

Oh crab 3

Hong Kong

I started with a post called “Oh crab“, then David continued by contributing his photo which I posted in “Oh crab again“, then he sent another one to me which is what you see today…“while strolling down Temple Street I came across a crab restaurant and I have been able to resist shooting it with the idea of another “Oh crab!” picture for your blog.
What a pity I was already full this night, the crabs dishes looked so yummy!”

If you guys got any Hong Kong photos with “crab” and want to continue with this theme, please send it to me…It would be fun.

So does that mean it’s a taxi stand minus the proper sign?

Poinsettia

Hong Kong

With less than a month to go before Christmas, we can see Poinsettia in many places including this little florist in Sheung Wan.

There’s no public holiday for Christmas in Mainland China so I’m hoping I can take a few days off…(I’ll keep my fingers crossed).

10A

Hong Kong

An advertising billboard at Causeway Bay selling the achievements of a tutorial center, and this is how sick Hong Kong’s education system is — students are relying on superstar tutors to help them achieve 10As (high scores) in public examination. But have they really learned the knowledge? Do 10As really mean they are educated?

Street signs sold at a stall at the Star Ferry pier at TsimShaTsui. Hong Kong, one photo a day has covered most of the areas seen here with the exception of Temple Street and Nathan Road.

A photo by Walter which he named as Racing Street…my guess is that this was taken in the Middle Levels, probably around Caine Road and Seymour Road.

Bollard and rope

Hong Kong

This photo was by Ysengrin who lives in HK and shares the same passion of taking photos of daily life in the city, and I dearly love this commentary…how true…

I took this picture in one of my daily trip in the Star Ferry…a must see in Hong Kong. I took it everyday but I’m still fascinated with the fact that when you go in (exept the fact that everybody have mobile, PDA and other hi-tech toys) you feel like this place didn’t change since the last century. The sailor also repeat moves that have been started long time ago
