I took this shot while walking downhill from the Mid-Levels, it’s a refreshing view among the concrete jungle and I so envy the owner to have such beautiful plant

This is the fridge door at my parents’ place in Hong Kong. A few years ago I was moving around so often that I just couldn’t carry too many things with me so I had left some of my fridge magnets with them, plus their own collection and some little souvenirs and giveaways, their fridge is pretty well covered

I walked past a quiet street in the Mid-Levels and saw this line-up…they were probably left out there by the owner to get some sun and obviously, he and she was a very tidy person

The answer to yesterday’s question — it’s a pretty worn out notice board I saw in Lamma Island, and I just love green, any shade of green

This is the first time that I ever looked at a sunset from atop like this. It was amazing and I just kept clicking like this is the well…first time. And I promise I’ll show something different tomorrow

The plane was just starting to take off and this is the photo I took while the plane was moving. Beautiful, isn’t it? I must say I have never seen sunset from the air before. You’ll see the last photo of this series tomorrow.

Right when the rain stopped and the clouds had cleared, the plane moved to the runway getting ready to take off, and the sunset was visible. I took many photos though not quite successful in focusing on the sun. Come back tomorrow to see the sunset from the air.

I took this photo last month when I was on a flight leaving Hong Kong. It rained almost everyday during my 6 days there. And just when the airplane was ready to take off, the sun came out…Come back tomorrow to see the sunset from over HK’s sky.

From the neon lights and glamor of the city yesterday, we have a little bit of tranquil country side today. This is a photo of a village house I saw on the Lamma Island. What is your choice, air-conditioned apartment or this? I kind of just keep thinking about the mosquitoes and bugs around this place…

If you like my night photos then you’ll probably like this one by Greg as well. This is the street just off Lan Kwai Fong which I have shown a couple of times. Here’s Greg’s caption: Yung Kee restaurant in Wellington Street. I went there before I knew it was famous and waited a long time for a seat. Noodles or Yung Kee, which will it be next time?
For your information, Yung Kee is famous for roast goose and they have noodles too![]()

Michelle took this photo in Cheug Chau at the Cheung Po Tsai Cave. Cheung Chau used to be one of my favorite island in Hongkong. In this tiny lovely land, no care about busy transport, only fresh air and smell of sea.

This photo was taken by David Aufrance during his hiking trip.
A couple weeks ago I hiked up from our village in Tai Wan (Sai Kung) to the top of Ma On Shan and then back to Sai Kung on the Lantau Trail. It was a rather nice day for a change, but still a bit hazy. It shows a side of Hongkong that most people aren’t familiar with - space and few houses!

This is a photo by Ysengrin and I like the title he gave it…and here’s Ysengrin’s caption: Cerberus is living in Peng Shau but he don’t look after any door, his treasure is a wall of empty bottles. After emptying all these bottles, it’s master is probably sleeping around.

I have started another round of contributors’ photos. Here’s a photo by David and he wrote: when you posted the “Oh crab” picture I have been very surprised because only a few days before I was in that same street (Hennessy Rd, very close to Southom Playground right?) wondering if I could photograph this crab.
The first week of March I was again in Hong Kong island and I wanted a return game so I went again to this place : the crab had left! So I spent the night searching for it and I finally found it near Yee Wo street. So I shoot it before he moved again.
Nice shot, David![]()
