Red cotton

red cotton

Since this blog is over a year old now so it’s kind of unavoidable that we’ll see some repeated subject, so here’s the red cotton again, seen last year in this photo with special appearance by Sharon Stone.

Answer to yesterday’s post: up to now, Denton, Az and Walter got the answer right — I was on the express train from Central to the HK airport…;-)

I like this photo better than the one last year. I also would like to know the name of the tree. It is important to me since I like flowers, trees, and things in Nature. We have a small tree in this country (USA) in Ohio, where I live, that blooms every spring and grows in the wild. It is called a “Redbud” tree and it is an understory tree that grows under large trees in the forest. It is quite beautiful like your tree is in red. This one we call the Redbud has only pink flowers.

Very interesting and artistic photo. One’s eyes can spend minutes dodging in/out/between the flower buds…focusing at the buds, then the building in the back…then the branches…Wonderful capture!

Kate, it’s an apartment building, and don’t you envy those who live in that building with such a great flower tree right outside their windows?
