Can't forget that distinctive fire extinguisher on the HK airport express. Venting is good; but don't let them get to you! :-)

I just came back from Hong Kong and China a week ago. I couldn't believe how rude those drivers were. It seemed they deliberately tried to run over pedestrians as a sport.... it didn't matter if there was a crosswalk or not. Drivers in China were the worst. Macau drivers were a little more subdue. Also, the mainland Chinese people had absolutely no manner at all. They cared less if the elevator was full to the capacitiy, they just kept coming in. "Excuse me!" was a phase that was NEVER heard in China. ....they just pushed they way through.

Getting help on the street in China was impossible, NOT EVEN FROM THE POLICE . Even when I asked for direction, people looked at me as I was insane. Hong Kong was a little better. I could find one out of 5 people who was helpful.

Overall, our 3 week trip was pleasant, but the local people could be a lot more courteous.
