Piggy

Gung Hei Fat Choy! (<-- that's typical Cantonese greetings for Chinese New Year, literally meaning congratulations on making a big fortune!). Today's is Chinese New Year day, the first day of the Year of Pig, and here are some pigs of the year!! I saw these in Cat Street and they are in fact piggy banks :-) I should have just landed in HK by the time this post is auto-published, gotta join a big family dinner and maybe I'll show you the dishes we have ;-)

p.s. share your Hong Kong photos with us, click here for details.

What an adorable upside down piggy! Very clever way to tradionally invert that word on the fellow’s belly…it should bring good luck to everybody! :-)

Happy New Year to you Lisi and best wishes for the Photobloggies Award. You deserve to win, but it will be tough with Edwin around. Let’s figure a way to get him out of the picture… maybe a trip to Shanghai ;-)
