Where is Waldo?

Sheung Wan

Today is a big day! DP theme day and my first day at the new job in Shanghai!
The theme: What annoys me in my city…well, there’s a list, and on the very top is “air pollution” but since I have posted on this subject a few times, I’ve chosen the second on the list: “too crowded” in most places most of the time. But of course, this is exactly what makes HK a prosperous city…the people, the work hard play hard people and the vitality of people. Well, I might as well tell you about the third item on the list is “Me not in HK anymore”, so there is blank space in this photo! LOL! This photo was taken in Causeway Bay quite a few months ago.

See what are the annoying things in other cities:

Great photo and great idea too! I’ve never been to HK but I hear that you could also take this same photo at night and there would still be as many people.

Hi all, thanks for the nice comments…

Nathalie, sometimes HKDP is all about humor and a little bit crazy :-)

Ham, you will see it in person one day!

Walter, you are just spoiling me with your compliments…

Jing, thanks for your photo of the underground, I know what to avoid in Shanghai now ;p

Ysengrin, you definitely know how to survive in HK!

Olivier, I couldn’t get on to a lot of DP blogs not because of the firewall but just that it is extremely slow and I don’t have much time to browse, so I’ll visit EDP again soon.

Sophie, as far I see in these 3 days, HK is more crowded than Shanghai, but I guess they are pretty much the same in the underground…

    Keropokman, DEFINITELY!

Denton, I will back during Chinese New Year and will take A LOT of photos so…

Felicia, you are right, I could just darken this photo to show you how crowded this same spot could be at night!

Ming, it’s been nice so far :-)

Ben, you’re right, it’s very much like downtown Tokyo as seen in Japanese TV shows

Kim, Shanghai is nice and there’s a part of it that reminds me of downtown San Francisco…maybe I’ll show you some day

Isabella, Jing’s photo is in the underground, so I guess HK is just super crowded on the streets and underground

Jenny, Shanghai is nice and will be even nicer when I move in my apartment this Sunday

Jean, I’m glad you like it, and thanks the the well wishes

Sally, or we can tweak it as “Where’s Sally?”
