DP Family theme day — a photo of a person from the waist down(like Bob’s)
I’m not sure when it started to be called “Bob shot” (not by me I’m sure) but ex-DP blogger Bob has a very unique style and so most DP bloggers know what it means when we refer to a photo as a Bob shot. I took this photo yesterday afternoon in Wanchai when, among the crowds mostly in black and blue pants, this beautiful blue skirt caught my attention . I was testing the panning effect of my camera (a recent discovery, I didn’t even know my camera has that function) and so had used a bit of panning on this one :-). Links: a white skirt and a yellow skirt by Bob; another of my previous “Bob shot” here.
See the theme day photos in other cities today:
Due to time zone differences and other factors, the theme photo may not be displayed until later. If you view after the date (also depends on the time zone) then you may probably find the theme photo in archives.

How did you make the picture black and white with the skirt so blue? Is this a function on the camera as well or a computer program?
December 1st, 2006, at 8:19 pm #Love both the movement and the colour. Your experiment worked!
December 1st, 2006, at 9:10 pm #You & FZ10 were perfectly perfect when you took this shot.
